Young Voices - February 2024
An amazing time was had by all at the Young Voices Choir held in the Resorts World Arena, Birmingham on Friday 23rd February.
34 children from Years 5 and 6 spent months practising the songs in an after-school club led by Mrs. Harris and were part of the 5000+ strong choir. These songs included medleys from Matilda The Musical, Moana, pop music and various songs about walking. We also learned a beautiful Korean song called Arirang (and are now practically fluent!!!)
We were extremely fortunate to be able to sing alongside amazing professionals on the night, including Natalie Williams, MC Grammar and the incredibly talented drummer, Nandi Bushell, who is only 13 years old. As always, the incredibly popular Urban Strides showed us their best dance moves and we were able to groove along with them.
