Science 🌼 - Continuing with our ‘Circle of Life’ topic, today we learnt about the life cycle of plants. We learnt about plant reproduction; germination, pollination, fertilisation and dispersal. Dissecting flowers to see the individual parts was definitely a highlight!
Science 🐸 - Whilst half of Rudhall enjoyed their first Forest School session of Year 5, the remaining half kicked off our new science unit by looking at the life cycles of amphibians, birds, mammals and insects. We were able to get up close and personal to some very active froglets, tadpoles with hind legs and tadpoles too! The children thoroughly enjoyed bringing the learning to life.
