Today, Rosie the guide dog came to visit us in assembly with her owner Claire and her friend Christine.

We found out all about how Rosie helps Claire in her daily life and how important she is to her. We also found out how Rosie was trained and what it takes to train her. Did you know it takes £55,000 to fully train and look after a guide dog? We learned about how the charity Guide Dogs for The Blind raises money to train and support guide dogs.

Rosie was so well-behaved during her visit and we thoroughly enjoyed finding out all about her.
