Paul Klee
We have been learning about the artist Paul Klee. He created abstract paintings, using lots of bright, dark and pale colours. We explored how to create pale colours by using white to make tints of our starting colour.
Paul Klee painted a picture called ‘Castle and the Sun’.
The children used this picture to inspire their own paintings. They used 2D shapes and their knowledge of mixing tints with watercolours to create their own paintings.
