We worked together to look at the structure of the heart. We identified and labelled the four chambers of the heart and watched a video clip show how blood was pumped through the heart to the lungs then back into the heart to be pumped around the body. We understood that the heart and blood work together to create the circulatory system in our body, providing our organs and muscles with energy, water and oxygen to work.
