Since 2019, our schools have operated as part of a successful hard federation, led by a single Governing Body and Executive Headteacher. This arrangement was established to strengthen educational opportunities for all children, ensure long-term sustainability, and enable the sharing of expertise, resources and leadership across both schools. The federation builds on a shared vision of high-quality education while preserving the unique identity, character and place of each school within its own community. 

Over the years, the federation has proved highly effective. By working together, our schools have benefited from strong strategic leadership, collaborative staff development, shared best practice and enhanced opportunities for pupils. At the same time, each school has retained its own distinct ethos, traditions, admissions arrangements and community relationships. The federation enables us to draw on the strengths of both schools while ensuring that every child continues to receive the highest standard of education in a setting that feels local, familiar and supportive.
