Rudhall Class 2023-24 - What a fun-filled year!
Rudhall Class 2022-23
What a fantastic year we had in Rudhall!
Talent show β - We are so proud of our Rudhall stars who took part in the 2023 Gorsley Goffs Talent Show! You all did amazingly and should be very proud.
'Making Connections' Science Day 𧡠- Rudhall combined with Wye for the first part of the day whilst Larks were at their competition (and won!!) we looked at how we connect, both physically and virtually with others. We worked in small groups using string to connect us and had to work collaboratively to write, this was not as easy as it sounded! We then worked together to help save a school from a viral outbreak (a virtual reality game, thankfully) and attempted to build a bridge from paper. Rudhall thoroughly enjoyed connecting with Wye! In the afternoon, Rudhall continued the theme in their PE lesson and then used the string to create their Mothers Day cards with a continuous line technique showing how we are always connected. Great job Rudhall!
World Book Day π - With a whole school focus on Roald Dahl this year, Rudhall class explored the story 'Danny the Champion of the World'. After a discussion around our initial thoughts, we read the first chapter and tried our hand at painting in the style of Quentin Blake. We then created Airbnb adverts for Danny's caravan. We finished off the day creating some blackout poems using Chapter Two.
Children's Mental Health Week π - Rudhall enjoyed taking time to focus on our own thoughts this week, practising mindfulness daily. The theme this year was 'let's connect', we explored how we can connect with ourselves and others.

Safer Internet Day π» - Rudhall class took part in the BBC live lesson, creating their own poster to help others stay safe whilst using the internet and enjoyed some really mature discussion about how we can keep ourselves and others safe.
