The Great Fire of London
The children created The Great Fire of London in a jar. They had to think about the materials they used and their properties.
The children recreated the Great Fire of London during a Forest School session with the help of Mrs. Stafford. Before the session, the children made Tudor Building from cardboard boxes, paint and paper. They had a lot of fun making them. The children learnt how the fire spread from house to house and understood why so many houses and churches burned down during that warm September in 1666.
