LS Lowry Seascapes 🎨
The children have been finding out about the artist, LS Lowry. They found out that he only used five colours in his paintings; red, blue, yellow, black and white.
Firstly, the children practised mixing secondary colours from the primary colours using watercolour paints. Then they worked on making their colours lighter using white and darker using black.
After exploring some of LS Lowry's seascapes, the children had the opportunity to try drawing their own using pencils. This was their chance to experiment with their own ideas.
