Tree Planting Day

Thanks to the Woodland Trust we were able to plant 100 trees in the school grounds.  The children and parent helpers were amazing and had loads of fun planting their baby saplings.

This new woodland is part of the 100 years since Armistice Day.  100 trees for 100 Years!  It is also intended to be for the children themselves to be remembered as being part of Gorsley Goffs School.  Hopefully the trees will grow strong and healthy alongside the children who planted them.

The Woodland Trust have donated over 41,497,408 trees and saved over a 1000 woods.  They are a charity well worth supporting. Huge thanks to them and to all the volunteers who helped on the afternoons
