Tectonic Plates

We kick-started our Volanoes topic by learning about the structure of the Earth and how the tectonic plates move about. To help us remember the different layers of the Earth, we created flip books. To help us understand the impact of the movement of the tectonic plates, we used shaving foam and paper plates to replicate how divergent, convergent and transformative boundaries are created. It was great fun!
