The children explored fiery colours using a variety of media in preparation for creating their pictures.

Recreating Pudding Lane

The children took their finished Tudor buildings to their Forest School session where they placed them closely together to recreate Pudding Lane.  Mrs. Stafford took on the role of the baker, Thomas Farriner, whose bakery is where the Great Fire began on 2nd September 1666.

The Great Fire of London Jars

The children created the Great Fire of London in a jar.  They worked very carefully and remembered the different scientific properties of the materials they used.
