As part of our topic about the Titanic, we carried out an investigation to see how ships float. We learnt about how different forces act upon a ship at sea and how the shape and size of a ship’s hull can affect the buoyancy of a ship. We experimented by making a tin foil boat that could hold the most weight by trying to make a ship with the most buoyancy.
