First, we used mirrors to help us draw a portrait of ourselves. We looked closely at positioning our features correctly, just like an artist would, and these are now displayed in our classroom. Without looking at the names on the portraits, we can tell who everyone is! Next, we looked at artwork created by the famous artist Picasso, and adapted our portraits into his style of art. We had fun positioning features differently to our original portraits, and enjoyed using oil pastels to add bold colours.
