The Kissing Hand

We listened to this lovely story by Audrey Penn, about a young raccoon called Chester who doesn't want to go to school. His mother lovingly kisses his hand and explains that the kiss will stay there and will travel up his arm and into his heart whenever he needs it. We each made our very own raccoon (which we later added hearts to) to remind us that we are being loved all the time, even when we're not at home!
