Foundation Governor

 

My name is Rachel Marshall, and I am a Foundation Governor for the Gateway Federation, with two daughters who attend Gorsley Goffs.

I have been part of several committees for the Governing Body, and now sit on the Curriculum committee, as well as being the Link Governor for SEN/LAC and for Early Years.

Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, I moved to Ross-on-Wye 11 years ago and I am the Executive Headteacher of two Ofsted-Outstanding Nursery Schools in Herefordshire.  My daily job involves striving to provide the very best for the 300 children at our two nurseries, and I hope to support the Governing body and leadership team of the Gateway Federation - helping to drive the strategic direction of the schools and continuing to raise the quality and experiences for all the children and parents at both Gorsley Goffs and the Lea.
