Welcome to Oxenhall Class

Our teachers are Mr Anderson-Kirby and Mrs Caligari

Today, Oxenhall class has been preparing and cooking an authentic Saxon stew. The fragrant aromas in the classroom have been wonderful!

The children tasted both the original recipe and their own adaptation and all the bowls were scraped clean!

What a fabulous day was had by all at Bishopswood! Now use your experiences to inspire your writing.

For homework: Imagine you are a Saxon villager. Write a diary entry for an ordinary day in your life. [You can be male or female, young or old. Are you a potter, a hunter or a maker of jewellery? Perhaps you're the head of the village. The ideas are up to you!] Good quality writing will join our Saxon display.

Don't forget to bring your cornet every Wednesday!
