I was married (at Gorsley Baptist Chapel, 1974) and my wife, Helen, born in Upton Bishop. We have extensive wider family locally.    We are still members of Gorsley Baptist Chapel.    My work base was Central London, from Shepperton, but am now retired.  We have two sones who are both married and three granchildren.   I volunteered in recent years for Shepperton Care - taking patients to local doctors/dentist/hospital appointments. I had done that for a number of years but it stopped during Covid.  My wife and I read for “Shepperton Talking News” for a number of years; digital recordings sent out on CD’s to local people with poor sight and unable to read.  I heard Years 5&6 pupils read at a school in Surrey one afternoon a week for about 5 years until.  I have also worked with a charity for the long-term unemployed.
