We started the day with an assembly on ‘The Day The Crayons Quit’, where the staff were dressed as the different coloured crayons. Miss Turner is still convinced that black shouldn’t be just used for outlines! Then we shared stories with Kempley Class.
After break we kicked off our new class book, Black Powder, by conducting a trial. Everyone took on a different role in the court and it was up to the jury to decide whether Henry Cresswell was guilty or innocent. We spent the rest of the day reading and doing activities on the book.
