Today, children in years 5 and 6 had an e-safety talk from PC Chris Lea of West Mercia Constabulary. He spoke to them about the dangers they may face whilst online and also discussed age limits for social networking sites such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.
PC Lea showed the video 'Jigsaw' from CEOPS which prompted children to think about possible dangers resulting from uploading photos and information about themselves online.
This evening, PC Lea spoke to parents from Gorsley as well as Lea Primary about the dangers their children may face online. He gave lots of advice regarding online safety and the law as well as sharing resources for parents to access at home.
