Sally-Ann enjoyed teaching in secondary schools in Gloucestershire and the West Midlands for over thirty years. Her career in Special Educational Needs was based on the core value of meeting individual needs within the whole school context. Since taking early retirement in 2009, she has undertaken various travel adventures and written about some of them. As mother to seven children, all of whom attended Gorsley Goff’s School, there have been long-term connections with the school since 1988. Her husband was also a pupil at the school as well as Governor in later years. She is a member of Gorsley Chapel and lives in the village.
