A.L.E.X.

Today we were introduced to A.L.E.X.

The children were using the iPads on an app called A.L.E.X. They worked together to program the robot A.L.E.X. using a sequence of commands to get through each level from start to finish. We had to think about how many steps forwards and how many left and right quarter turns we needed before pressing the 'run program' button. This was trickier than it seemed and often A.L.E.X. would fall off the edge!!  We thoroughly enjoyed using more imperative verbs!

If you enjoyed playing on A.L.E.X. why don't you download the app at home and practise some more?!

Can you work out the route that A.L.E.X. needs to take?
